Mas Que un Diagnostico: Exploring Cultural challenges with Autism

During this session, we hope to have a conversation on how our backgrounds and community perceptions shape what actions we take, how we perceive a child with a developmental difference like Autism Spectrum Disorder. This session is intended to be an opportunity for all to share ideas and experiences with the ultimate goal of supporting families and children with ASD.

Presenter Bio

Dr. Gabriel Anzueto is a native of San Antonio Texas, son of Guatemalan and Mexican immigrants. He has a personal connection with Eagle Pass, having visited a few times with his Godfather, a native of Eagle Pass. As a board certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician and General Pediatrician, his passion is to help the Hispanic and Spanish speaking community find their voice through education and guidance.
